Nice writeup Mielle, and thanks for mentioning SetJam. I'd say that the larger difference between SetJam and Clicker is that we're more of a tool; whereas they're trying to build an entertainment portal. If you know your favorite shows and want to build an online "favorites" list regardless of where the shows are (or will be), SetJam's the tool for you. If you just want to browse around, Clicker works very well.

I can honestly say I have used Soonr.com and the application saved me as my hard drive just crashed. With continuous synchronization, all my files are stored on the cloud network. My drive overheated for which caused the drive not to function I could not even take it out to install into an external unit after 30 days. Luckily I installed the soonr.com agent and I had a continuous backup of all my documents, favorites, databases and outlook profile settings. All I had to do was buy a new drive and install my software.

Reading through the proposals from industry and privacy advocates, it seems likely that new legislation or regulations will require websites to provide better disclosure about when and how ad networks collect information on their sites. Since many sites may not even know which ad networks are on their site, there's a free service to gather this information for you and inform you of the network privacy practices that apply to your site. Try it here:

"An e-reader should be not be a computer or an iPod touch; it shouldn’t do everything. An e-reader should facilitate reading in a comfortable and natural way."

AMEN to that! I'm tired of explaining to my friends that "NO, it doesn't take photos, play music, have a color screen, etc."
I like it just the way it is!
